I've got a tingly foot, it's that weird tingliness that you get when you haven't moved a limb in a while. Quite uncomfortable, if I may say so myself.
So today I got up to very little. I went off to college as normal, the plan to get up extra early and go for a run met with failure, what a surprise. Anywho, I went in on the bus as usual, but when I got to the depot, turns out the bus up to the college had already left. So I had to wait around till five past 9 to get a bus there. The class starts at 9 by the way. It was one of those times I wish I wasn't so cheap and had an mp3 player of some kind. Or I could do what I used to do in the marist, which was to bring in a cd player and keep it in my trouser pocket. Sure, it might have created an enormous bulge that would have looked like I was well-endowed if penis's grew from the front of your thigh. Yeah, that image just isin't right. So I got to the class and it wasn't bad, was one of those teachers that is the brand of boring that just looks like they're in a sort of permanent daze. A light reprimand was all I received.
The class's progressed and all was well, I even got word that I had the last two periods free, happy days, everything was looking good. Then I got to one of my double periods and as per usual, he gave us an exercise to do, some of us finished it in 5 or 10 minutes and a good few of the rooms occupants, older though they may be, took two classes to finish. So yet another class filled with playing solitaire and browsing the net. While this is great occasionally, it really gets quite irritating when it's ALL YOU DO, that is, when you're not having the pants bored off of you by teachers who just talk at you for two classes straight.
Back to the point.
So near the end of the class(in the last 5 minutes), the teacher stands up and informs us that one of our teachers is dealing with something personal so the triple period we've got for her is free, and seems how we also have the last two free as well, once we get the next class over us we've got the day off. Happy days. The next class went by smoothly and enjoyably even, and then I was free. So I rang up the mother to see if she would be willing to drop me a lift back out to thge house. Turns out she wouldn't be back for a good few hours, so I'd have to get the bus, unfortunate, but not world-ending. So I tehn get a call from my aunt who my mum had rang to get her to tell me the bus times out to where I live. She informed me the next bus was at 1:30, I glanced at my watch, 11:53, shit, I had time to kill. So I got a bus into the town, dropped me off near the bus depot, handy, can pop in and check if theres an earlier bus just to be sure. So off I walk up to the electronic door, I waited for it to begin to open and then I began to step through, but you see, this door has a differance. For some reason, this door does not open as wide as other electronic doors, it opens to a little less then half that. So as I strode confidantly forward, about half of me got in, the other half crashed into afformentioned door. Needless to say, I was quite embarassed. Also, turns out that 1:30 was indeed the next bus to go out, balls.
So off I wandered, intending to just go to the library and read a book until it was time for my bus. Instead I just walked around the town,I had nowhere to be and nothing pressing to do, and it was actually pretty enjoyable. No pressure, just simply walking around, places I hadn't been, things I hadn't seen, it was nice. I can't quite seem to articulate this bit so I'll just skip on. I ended up walking around for about an hour, and then I hit the library and read muh book for about 15 minutes or so. I then went to get my bus, and met my brother Patrick coming home from work, it's really odd, I seem to be meeting or seeing him an awful lot without meaning to. We just happen to be in the same place.
Yeah I got my bus home without a hitch and I don't think anything exciting happened after. An exciting edning, I know.

Hello there,
If you, like me, are a title junkie, you will have found yourself annoyed at not having a simple list of all the titles that will be obtainable in Wrath. I've compiled a little one now, I might have left some out, so feel free to tell me in the comments. I will try to keep this updated if more titles are added.
Please be aware that I am not sure of some of these, namely Elder and Exalted.
The Ambassador - Gotten by getting to exalted with all of your city factions
The Diplomat - Gotten by being exalted with Timbermaw Hold, Sporeggar, and Mag'har/Kurenai.

Discipline
Is it something that is learned? Is it something that someone else can teach you? Or is it instead something that must be enforced through your daily life. I just don't know, but I sure wish I had enough of it. I am just not dedicated to things. I managed it for most of one summer, I ran 5 days a week every week and I began to notice definite improvements. I ran whether it was rain or shine, nothing stopped me, and it was gratifying. It was good to know that I had put in the effort, I did not let myself go the easy route, I stuck to it. However after this sojourn into the world of running it went downhill. I slowly slacked off more and more until I lived just like I did before. I effectivley annuled all my work and it sickens me.
At the start of this summer I tried to reignite my passion for the exercise, I think my longest streak was two days, I just couldn't make myself stick to it anymore. I have no excuses, it was pure laziness and it shames me. It was even easier then before for me because we got a treadmill installed. I was able to run in all conditions without getting soaked to the skin or freezing my junk off. I don't know why I couldn't enforce myself again. I think maybe part of it has been wow, I have spent far too much of these last 3 monthes in Azeroth instead of the real world. I am, begging the pardon of Terry Goodkind for stealing a line from one of his books, already thinking of it as my "lost summer". I look back upon it and I think, what have I acheived? What goals or new things have I accomplished this summer?
The list of answers is slim, very slim indeed. This is disgusting and I must change myself. I do not wish to change for the benefit of others, I do not wish to make myself into a better person simply because that might make me more appealing to others. I will change myself because I need to change, I need to look at myself in the mirror and back over my life(short though it is so far) and feel proud. I have to like what I see, and I have to understand that opportunity truly does sometimes only knock once.
How many times have you, while lost in thought, mulled over the times that you could have said yes but instead said no? Have you ever wondered where those yesses could have taken you? I know I do. This is not even the obvious yesses like when a friend asks if you want to go for a drink, or do you want to go to the cinema later. The other ones where you know if you had just answered differantly your outlook could have changed, maybe for the better, but theres always a chance for the worse.
Change frightens people, stability and sameness are safe, they offer a refuge that you can hide in, sheltered from new and scary experiences. I have learned the hard way that stability and sameness may seem to be warm and comfortable, but they're in truth choking influences that strangle your drive to better yourself. Change can be bad but without it life is a dull and empty place, berefit of any real excitement.
I don't know why I wrote this and I don't know if it isin't all just a pile of shit that I'll regret when I think it over tomorrow. Maybe I got some valid points across, whatever the outcome I'm glad I took the time to write it.

Out of the frying pan, into the rep grind.
Hello thar, tis me again.
Since my last post I've quit my brand spanking new 25-man guild as I just can't work up the interest to do even the bare minimum in regards to raiding. I just cba, curse you xpac anticipation. I of course though that my apathy towards raiding and general instancing on my tankadin meant the end of wow for me for a while. I couldn't even feign interest in levelling my alts, even though I really want my Tauren warrior to be 70 for wrath. After reading up on a couple of the new achievements this changed. You see, apart from being a mount junkie, I am also quite the title junkie as well. Even though I haven't had much opportunity to gain said glorius proclamations, apart from the SSO one, I still loves em and will go to great lengths to get them. This is why I am now investing most of my play time running through stratholme and slaughtering undead in droves. I wants me that sexy new Argent Champion title. This is gotten by gaining exalted reputation with both the Argent Dawn and The Argent Crusade, which is one of the new factions being added.
Another title being added is The Diplomat, which is gotten by gaining exalted reputation with Sporeggar, Mag'har/Kurenai, and Timbermaw Hold. Now this one is going to be tougher then the Argent one. Mainly because it's going to be a big pain in the hole to grind out all three considering I'm very low with both TMH and Sporeggar. Gahhhhhhhhhh not looking forward to it. Still, it will give me some more time to enjoy my ret build, which I'm currently using as my nekkid pvp build. I got a rough outline from a spec I saw posted, but it wasn't very good so I customised it a bit. Now being the utter noob about ret that I am I probably got it completely wrong, but meh, it works. Now, back to the naked pvp. I have never liked pvp overmuch, pretty much because being prot in bg's just isin't much fun for me. I hear that other people enjoy flag carrying and node defending, but these always seem dreadfully boring to me. Which is why I specced ret, and then decided to forgoe armor.
This was inspired by a blog written by Orkchops, which you can find here. It left me in stiches but also gave me an idea about how to make pvp interesting for myself, so for you Orkchops,
/salute
It was fantasticly fun. I don't think pvp has ever been that exciting and helter-skelter for me. I was always the first to dive into the combat, my axe-blade hungering for my opponents blood! And if I was lucky I'd come out the other side sans body bag, but I didn't care if I died, because it was just so much damn fun. I could just imagine what was going through the enemies mind.
"Okay, farm seems safe, shit an incoming horde attack, lemme see, warrior, priest, rogue....and a a paladin....without armor......and with a really big axe.....coming straight at me"
And then while they're disabled by awe(some people will say by laughter, but these people are frauds and LIARS), I leap in and rend them in twain!
It really is great fun killing unsuspecting people while you're nekkid nd they're in some spiffy and shiny pvp gear=P
I think I repeated myelf a lot in this post, but hey, it was all quality stuff, so I'm sure you won't mind hearing it twice.

Bored, WTB Expac NAO
The title really says it all, I wants me some of that sweet expansion lovin'. The reason for my lust for the expansion is that I find my interest in wow flagging. I just can't be arsed to log on anymore, and when I do log on I end up running or flying around shattrath for a while before just exiting the game. Sure I guess I could run some instances or someting but to tell you the truth I don't want to do that either. I keep saying to myself that I enjoy tanking, maybe it's just that lately I've become scared of doing it for fear of making mistakes and wiping a group. It just seems that people don't run instances for fun and it's no longer poops and giggles when someone does something silly that causes a wipe. Instead it's people who are only running it for badges and they choose the instances because of their high badge-to-time ratio. If people make mistakes and wipe in those types of runs then that is screwing up their badge-to-time ratio, and they get annoyed, and they call people names, and everyone feels awkward and it's no longer fun.
I just don't know, sometimes it seems that I'm a bad tank, I do stupid things, or things that I think will help but just cause a hindrance. Maybe that's it, maybe it's just no longer fun for me. My fear is crippling me. I say that I like tanking and I love reading about it and imagining tanking the big baddies like illidan and archi and kael. I can't remember the last time I did an instance, I just have no wish to do them anymore, I'm afraid of what I might do wrong, or just not knowing what to do or what have you. I read up on them and watch some vids trying to find out everything that might be bad to do before-hand and I get all pumped and I feel like I can do it, and then I go away and when I come back I'm in the same position again, not wanting to do anything for the fear of failure.
I suppose the only way to learn something is by doing it, and this has worked for me in the past. I remember hating heroic Botanica because I thought it was uber hard. This, I found out later, was due to a none-too-optimal healer, and was not really my fault(I certainly contributed to it with my inexperience in the instance, but I most certainly was not the sole reason for it), but it was too late, the damage was done. I didn't ever want to step into that instance again. However, something far greater then simple fear egged me on and mae me run it again.
Asthetics.
Yes that's right, I was still equipped with the Warchiefs mantle, and dear sweet lord, I don't think I ever hated another shoulder grahpic that much. Right from the first I thought it looked like ass, and I was stuck with it. FOR MONTHS. And so I began my epic quest for my DS3. This led me back in to the Botanica. I'll admit that at first I was very leery of doing it again, but after numerous trys I found that it was actually a very fun, very easy, quick instance. In fact it is now my favorite instance and the one which I know the best. I occasionaly make mistakes, but that's kind of okay, because it teaches me yet another thing I didn't know about the place. It makes the runs after it go smoother and with less mistakes, I can also now do it significantly faster then I used to be able to. At first it was an hour and a half or two hour affair, but now I've trimmed it down to about 50 minutes or an hour, which isin't terribly shabby in my humble opinion.
So yeah, based on my previous experiences it would seem that it would be a good idea to simply do Heroic MgT again and again and again until I know it inside out and can anticipate the things that will make my group get reaquainted with mr floor. However I'd prefer not to do this with my guildies=P, because well, with pugs it isin't too bad if I let people down, I'm not in daily contact with them, they won't really affect my reputation too much unless I do something monstrously bad.
Well there we are, got some of my crazy unsubstantiated fears offa mah chest.
As I said in the title and the subsequent line, I'm really looking forward to the xpac. All the paladin changes are quite exciting and I can't wait to see and try out some of the new abilities. More then that, though, I really want the new content, from all I've heard about northrend and the DK starting zones, the quests are very imaginative and lore-based. For someone whos played the RTS's(admitidly only WC3 and Frozen Throne), it's going to be amazing. I really love the Arthas storyline and the fact that he's going to be playing an active part and will be a very visible evil bad guy supreme is something that I just think is amazing. I would of loved to see Illidan more during my sojourn on Outland, but I think I've only ever seen him once, when I got muh netherdrake. That was a pity, because I also enjoyed his whole saga as well.
Another thing the expansion will offer mer(apart from more unique mounts for me to horn after, I'm a mount junkie btw=P) is a chance to ride the progression wave. When BC came out I was still levelling my first character, a tauren shammy. I got him to level 43 and then just lost all interest, thus began my current main Vash's journy to 70. However I wasn't exactly speedy in my aquisition of levels, or getting gear once I'd reached 70. I was a fresh player with a lot to learn. I've now become practised in my class and chosen role, which is of course tanking. I know a helluva lot more about the game then I did as a fresh 70. This is fantastic, and I owe alot of it to maintankadin, it taught me the essentials and honed my knowledge afterwards.
I now feel that when I reach 80, I will have a good grounding of experience to get me off the ground where raiding is concerned. I wil finally be able to progress through some of the higher tier instances, and see some of the big bad guys, something I never really got a chance to do in TBC, due to exams and other pressures. I'm bubbling over with enthusiasm for the new version of the game, so bring it on!
