Contradiction
I find my thought processes are often contradictory, or hypocritical, I'm not sure which, or if they're the same thing. I'm always thinking one thing or pursueing something and then when I'm just in reach of it I'll decide that, no, I didn't really want that after all. Perhaps I should be less open-minded, I don't know, maybe then I could form some strong opinions on things, something that would cement something in my brain that I could build upon. As it is I let whimsy rule me, I just do as pleases me, but then that isin't entirely accurate either. I don't do what pleases me, I go to the path of least resistance. Why is that I wonder? The most obvious answer would be the most likely, that I don't want to challenge myself, I don't want the risk of failure. As so many comedy programs say, "Well you tried and failed, so the lesson is, never try". Never trying is so easy, it's so very very easy to never take a risk, and never fail, but never succeed to any great degree.
Weird how you convince yourself that it isin't that you don't want to try though. I can recall firmly a few occasions where I convinced myself that it wasn't what I wanted, what I needed, and then proceeded to fuck it up. Of course, later on I would think back and realise what an enormous twat I was, and that I was being very silly indeed. Fear is at the core of my being, I'm afraid of failure, afraid of what people think, afraid of what I think, afraid that people will find out what I think. Funny enough I'm not really afraid of anything physical happening to me, such as being started upon, or anything like that. It's all in my head. Oh there was another contradiction there so maybe I should clarify, I don't mind sharing some things, otherwise this blog wouldn't exist, but I don't like the idea of people getting to know my inner though processes, though it would make things a hell of a lot easier. If people knew my motives and why I think the weird way I do, maybe that would help them understand why I do what I do. In a way that's probably what this is for, to get people to know what I think so they know there is some method to my madness, there are motives behind what I do.
In a lot of ways I try to look at life like a joke, trying to find something funny about everything, or at least find the humor in things. So many people can't laugh at themselves very well, if they can't then they won't get along too fantastically with me, as I tend to be so used to laughing at everything, myself included, that I don't realise people will take offense, or read deeply into what I joke about. I generally joke mindlessly, I don't usually dislike you if I make fun of you, I just like laughing at things. I especially like pointing out awkward things or what have you, because I figure it's usually only awkward because people try to ignore it. If someone is willing to look at it, laugh at it in good humor, I think it lessens the, for lack of a better word, awkwardness.
I didn't reallty convey well what I meant there, but it's a good enough outline.
Has to be a balance between body and mind, that's something I like to believe. Hell, I believe you've got to be well-rounded everywhere, that's why I always choose the character that can do everything in games and such. Someone who develops themselves as a whole, as opposed to in parts. I think it's good to have a strong body and an agile mind. I mean, if I put it to you this way, which would you rather be, really smart, but your body would be weak/fat or what have you, out of condition, or have a great body, but be none too bright, or, say, not have as much mental agility as the average guy. Or would you rather be strong in body, fit, not overly so, and strong in mind, I think it would give you more confidence in a myriad of different areas.
Once again, not too sure I got my point across well there, but fuck revising it, I'll just say that I didn't think it was up to scratch because that's quite a bit easier.
Ruts, beware of ruts, they ruin life, I'm stuck in one now. I do jack shit, and my life, to me anyway, is quite boring. Gotta get some momentum going and get out of the funk I'm in. I think life would be more bright and cheerful with more variety.

Uhhhh I really should stay away from them thar sweet things in yonder kitchen, they does be a bad for me sensitive sensibilities.
I'm making a list of handy tips for taking over the world, turns out making a presentation from it is a little difficult, well one that lasts for 12 slides anyway.
Most of the stuff I write for it ends up crossing into the how to be an evil overlord section, and that itself would seem like a better idea but it's diffiiult to stretch out to 12 slides without making it into a, Do this, don't do that, do these things as well, don't do those things.

Tingly Foot.
I've got a tingly foot, it's that weird tingliness that you get when you haven't moved a limb in a while. Quite uncomfortable, if I may say so myself.
So today I got up to very little. I went off to college as normal, the plan to get up extra early and go for a run met with failure, what a surprise. Anywho, I went in on the bus as usual, but when I got to the depot, turns out the bus up to the college had already left. So I had to wait around till five past 9 to get a bus there. The class starts at 9 by the way. It was one of those times I wish I wasn't so cheap and had an mp3 player of some kind. Or I could do what I used to do in the marist, which was to bring in a cd player and keep it in my trouser pocket. Sure, it might have created an enormous bulge that would have looked like I was well-endowed if penis's grew from the front of your thigh. Yeah, that image just isin't right. So I got to the class and it wasn't bad, was one of those teachers that is the brand of boring that just looks like they're in a sort of permanent daze. A light reprimand was all I received.
The class's progressed and all was well, I even got word that I had the last two periods free, happy days, everything was looking good. Then I got to one of my double periods and as per usual, he gave us an exercise to do, some of us finished it in 5 or 10 minutes and a good few of the rooms occupants, older though they may be, took two classes to finish. So yet another class filled with playing solitaire and browsing the net. While this is great occasionally, it really gets quite irritating when it's ALL YOU DO, that is, when you're not having the pants bored off of you by teachers who just talk at you for two classes straight.
Back to the point.
So near the end of the class(in the last 5 minutes), the teacher stands up and informs us that one of our teachers is dealing with something personal so the triple period we've got for her is free, and seems how we also have the last two free as well, once we get the next class over us we've got the day off. Happy days. The next class went by smoothly and enjoyably even, and then I was free. So I rang up the mother to see if she would be willing to drop me a lift back out to thge house. Turns out she wouldn't be back for a good few hours, so I'd have to get the bus, unfortunate, but not world-ending. So I tehn get a call from my aunt who my mum had rang to get her to tell me the bus times out to where I live. She informed me the next bus was at 1:30, I glanced at my watch, 11:53, shit, I had time to kill. So I got a bus into the town, dropped me off near the bus depot, handy, can pop in and check if theres an earlier bus just to be sure. So off I walk up to the electronic door, I waited for it to begin to open and then I began to step through, but you see, this door has a differance. For some reason, this door does not open as wide as other electronic doors, it opens to a little less then half that. So as I strode confidantly forward, about half of me got in, the other half crashed into afformentioned door. Needless to say, I was quite embarassed. Also, turns out that 1:30 was indeed the next bus to go out, balls.
So off I wandered, intending to just go to the library and read a book until it was time for my bus. Instead I just walked around the town,I had nowhere to be and nothing pressing to do, and it was actually pretty enjoyable. No pressure, just simply walking around, places I hadn't been, things I hadn't seen, it was nice. I can't quite seem to articulate this bit so I'll just skip on. I ended up walking around for about an hour, and then I hit the library and read muh book for about 15 minutes or so. I then went to get my bus, and met my brother Patrick coming home from work, it's really odd, I seem to be meeting or seeing him an awful lot without meaning to. We just happen to be in the same place.
Yeah I got my bus home without a hitch and I don't think anything exciting happened after. An exciting edning, I know.

Hello there,
If you, like me, are a title junkie, you will have found yourself annoyed at not having a simple list of all the titles that will be obtainable in Wrath. I've compiled a little one now, I might have left some out, so feel free to tell me in the comments. I will try to keep this updated if more titles are added.

Discipline
Is it something that is learned? Is it something that someone else can teach you? Or is it instead something that must be enforced through your daily life. I just don't know, but I sure wish I had enough of it. I am just not dedicated to things. I managed it for most of one summer, I ran 5 days a week every week and I began to notice definite improvements. I ran whether it was rain or shine, nothing stopped me, and it was gratifying. It was good to know that I had put in the effort, I did not let myself go the easy route, I stuck to it. However after this sojourn into the world of running it went downhill. I slowly slacked off more and more until I lived just like I did before. I effectivley annuled all my work and it sickens me.
At the start of this summer I tried to reignite my passion for the exercise, I think my longest streak was two days, I just couldn't make myself stick to it anymore. I have no excuses, it was pure laziness and it shames me. It was even easier then before for me because we got a treadmill installed. I was able to run in all conditions without getting soaked to the skin or freezing my junk off. I don't know why I couldn't enforce myself again. I think maybe part of it has been wow, I have spent far too much of these last 3 monthes in Azeroth instead of the real world. I am, begging the pardon of Terry Goodkind for stealing a line from one of his books, already thinking of it as my "lost summer". I look back upon it and I think, what have I acheived? What goals or new things have I accomplished this summer?
The list of answers is slim, very slim indeed. This is disgusting and I must change myself. I do not wish to change for the benefit of others, I do not wish to make myself into a better person simply because that might make me more appealing to others. I will change myself because I need to change, I need to look at myself in the mirror and back over my life(short though it is so far) and feel proud. I have to like what I see, and I have to understand that opportunity truly does sometimes only knock once.
How many times have you, while lost in thought, mulled over the times that you could have said yes but instead said no? Have you ever wondered where those yesses could have taken you? I know I do. This is not even the obvious yesses like when a friend asks if you want to go for a drink, or do you want to go to the cinema later. The other ones where you know if you had just answered differantly your outlook could have changed, maybe for the better, but theres always a chance for the worse.
Change frightens people, stability and sameness are safe, they offer a refuge that you can hide in, sheltered from new and scary experiences. I have learned the hard way that stability and sameness may seem to be warm and comfortable, but they're in truth choking influences that strangle your drive to better yourself. Change can be bad but without it life is a dull and empty place, berefit of any real excitement.
I don't know why I wrote this and I don't know if it isin't all just a pile of shit that I'll regret when I think it over tomorrow. Maybe I got some valid points across, whatever the outcome I'm glad I took the time to write it.

Out of the frying pan, into the rep grind.
Hello thar, tis me again.
Since my last post I've quit my brand spanking new 25-man guild as I just can't work up the interest to do even the bare minimum in regards to raiding. I just cba, curse you xpac anticipation. I of course though that my apathy towards raiding and general instancing on my tankadin meant the end of wow for me for a while. I couldn't even feign interest in levelling my alts, even though I really want my Tauren warrior to be 70 for wrath. After reading up on a couple of the new achievements this changed. You see, apart from being a mount junkie, I am also quite the title junkie as well. Even though I haven't had much opportunity to gain said glorius proclamations, apart from the SSO one, I still loves em and will go to great lengths to get them. This is why I am now investing most of my play time running through stratholme and slaughtering undead in droves. I wants me that sexy new Argent Champion title. This is gotten by gaining exalted reputation with both the Argent Dawn and The Argent Crusade, which is one of the new factions being added.
Another title being added is The Diplomat, which is gotten by gaining exalted reputation with Sporeggar, Mag'har/Kurenai, and Timbermaw Hold. Now this one is going to be tougher then the Argent one. Mainly because it's going to be a big pain in the hole to grind out all three considering I'm very low with both TMH and Sporeggar. Gahhhhhhhhhh not looking forward to it. Still, it will give me some more time to enjoy my ret build, which I'm currently using as my nekkid pvp build. I got a rough outline from a spec I saw posted, but it wasn't very good so I customised it a bit. Now being the utter noob about ret that I am I probably got it completely wrong, but meh, it works. Now, back to the naked pvp. I have never liked pvp overmuch, pretty much because being prot in bg's just isin't much fun for me. I hear that other people enjoy flag carrying and node defending, but these always seem dreadfully boring to me. Which is why I specced ret, and then decided to forgoe armor.
This was inspired by a blog written by Orkchops, which you can find here. It left me in stiches but also gave me an idea about how to make pvp interesting for myself, so for you Orkchops,
/salute
It was fantasticly fun. I don't think pvp has ever been that exciting and helter-skelter for me. I was always the first to dive into the combat, my axe-blade hungering for my opponents blood! And if I was lucky I'd come out the other side sans body bag, but I didn't care if I died, because it was just so much damn fun. I could just imagine what was going through the enemies mind.
"Okay, farm seems safe, shit an incoming horde attack, lemme see, warrior, priest, rogue....and a a paladin....without armor......and with a really big axe.....coming straight at me"
And then while they're disabled by awe(some people will say by laughter, but these people are frauds and LIARS), I leap in and rend them in twain!
It really is great fun killing unsuspecting people while you're nekkid nd they're in some spiffy and shiny pvp gear=P
I think I repeated myelf a lot in this post, but hey, it was all quality stuff, so I'm sure you won't mind hearing it twice.

Bored, WTB Expac NAO
The title really says it all, I wants me some of that sweet expansion lovin'. The reason for my lust for the expansion is that I find my interest in wow flagging. I just can't be arsed to log on anymore, and when I do log on I end up running or flying around shattrath for a while before just exiting the game. Sure I guess I could run some instances or someting but to tell you the truth I don't want to do that either. I keep saying to myself that I enjoy tanking, maybe it's just that lately I've become scared of doing it for fear of making mistakes and wiping a group. It just seems that people don't run instances for fun and it's no longer poops and giggles when someone does something silly that causes a wipe. Instead it's people who are only running it for badges and they choose the instances because of their high badge-to-time ratio. If people make mistakes and wipe in those types of runs then that is screwing up their badge-to-time ratio, and they get annoyed, and they call people names, and everyone feels awkward and it's no longer fun.
I just don't know, sometimes it seems that I'm a bad tank, I do stupid things, or things that I think will help but just cause a hindrance. Maybe that's it, maybe it's just no longer fun for me. My fear is crippling me. I say that I like tanking and I love reading about it and imagining tanking the big baddies like illidan and archi and kael. I can't remember the last time I did an instance, I just have no wish to do them anymore, I'm afraid of what I might do wrong, or just not knowing what to do or what have you. I read up on them and watch some vids trying to find out everything that might be bad to do before-hand and I get all pumped and I feel like I can do it, and then I go away and when I come back I'm in the same position again, not wanting to do anything for the fear of failure.
I suppose the only way to learn something is by doing it, and this has worked for me in the past. I remember hating heroic Botanica because I thought it was uber hard. This, I found out later, was due to a none-too-optimal healer, and was not really my fault(I certainly contributed to it with my inexperience in the instance, but I most certainly was not the sole reason for it), but it was too late, the damage was done. I didn't ever want to step into that instance again. However, something far greater then simple fear egged me on and mae me run it again.
Asthetics.
Yes that's right, I was still equipped with the Warchiefs mantle, and dear sweet lord, I don't think I ever hated another shoulder grahpic that much. Right from the first I thought it looked like ass, and I was stuck with it. FOR MONTHS. And so I began my epic quest for my DS3. This led me back in to the Botanica. I'll admit that at first I was very leery of doing it again, but after numerous trys I found that it was actually a very fun, very easy, quick instance. In fact it is now my favorite instance and the one which I know the best. I occasionaly make mistakes, but that's kind of okay, because it teaches me yet another thing I didn't know about the place. It makes the runs after it go smoother and with less mistakes, I can also now do it significantly faster then I used to be able to. At first it was an hour and a half or two hour affair, but now I've trimmed it down to about 50 minutes or an hour, which isin't terribly shabby in my humble opinion.
So yeah, based on my previous experiences it would seem that it would be a good idea to simply do Heroic MgT again and again and again until I know it inside out and can anticipate the things that will make my group get reaquainted with mr floor. However I'd prefer not to do this with my guildies=P, because well, with pugs it isin't too bad if I let people down, I'm not in daily contact with them, they won't really affect my reputation too much unless I do something monstrously bad.
Well there we are, got some of my crazy unsubstantiated fears offa mah chest.
As I said in the title and the subsequent line, I'm really looking forward to the xpac. All the paladin changes are quite exciting and I can't wait to see and try out some of the new abilities. More then that, though, I really want the new content, from all I've heard about northrend and the DK starting zones, the quests are very imaginative and lore-based. For someone whos played the RTS's(admitidly only WC3 and Frozen Throne), it's going to be amazing. I really love the Arthas storyline and the fact that he's going to be playing an active part and will be a very visible evil bad guy supreme is something that I just think is amazing. I would of loved to see Illidan more during my sojourn on Outland, but I think I've only ever seen him once, when I got muh netherdrake. That was a pity, because I also enjoyed his whole saga as well.
Another thing the expansion will offer mer(apart from more unique mounts for me to horn after, I'm a mount junkie btw=P) is a chance to ride the progression wave. When BC came out I was still levelling my first character, a tauren shammy. I got him to level 43 and then just lost all interest, thus began my current main Vash's journy to 70. However I wasn't exactly speedy in my aquisition of levels, or getting gear once I'd reached 70. I was a fresh player with a lot to learn. I've now become practised in my class and chosen role, which is of course tanking. I know a helluva lot more about the game then I did as a fresh 70. This is fantastic, and I owe alot of it to maintankadin, it taught me the essentials and honed my knowledge afterwards.
I now feel that when I reach 80, I will have a good grounding of experience to get me off the ground where raiding is concerned. I wil finally be able to progress through some of the higher tier instances, and see some of the big bad guys, something I never really got a chance to do in TBC, due to exams and other pressures. I'm bubbling over with enthusiasm for the new version of the game, so bring it on!

Here I sit, not sure what to write about, Anachranos is currently offline due to some "emergency maintenance" which is, now, only affecting my battlegroup. This is somewhat irritating as I had planned to do a blitz of some instances if I could, or at least run one or two, Papa needs his badges. Other then that I don't know what I would do, I think I've played WoW a little to much lately, that's not to say I spent hours and hours at it, I haven't. I've just played too much without a differant gaming distraction, I don't really have any other games to play. Well, that's not strictly true, I still have to finish bloody Twilight Princess on the Wii, someday, I swear, Someday! The Wii is pretty much the only console that is readily available to me as well, so that dosen't help, all the other ones, the PS2 and 3, and the xbox are all in my brothers room, makes sense considering that he owns them, but it's still irritating.
Maybe it's also all my social activity of late, ever since going off to Oxygen I've been hanging out, drinking and just messing around with my friends alot more, which is nice. Oxygen is a music festival in good old Ireland in case anyone reads this and wonders. Maybe I'm growing better or at least more practised at it as well, because I seem to be more relaxed around them and other people now, it's easier to have conversations, smoother if you will. Another couple of good things about going to Oxygen have been that I get up early now every day, well, early enough, I hover around 9 most days. I really enjoy this extra time in the day because I was beginning to slip and sleep alot of my day away, waking up at noon or 1, this always seemed a big waste and I'm glad it's corrected itself. The second thing is that Oxygen had taught me the true value of personal Hygiene, and I am no alot more clean in things, as in I shower every day now, instead of letting it slide for a couple of days. This is good.
A couple of other things have made me less then motivated when it comes to WoW, the impending xpac is one, and looking at all the lovely T6 gear that I will never have or see=(. I often find myself drooling over full paladin T6, with the illidan helm, tempest of Chaos and the bulwark, oh I wants it. It's hard to get motivated to raid or really try and progress at all when I know I won't be able to get to the gear that I really want( the asthetics of gear is important to me, which is why I hate T5). I have also yet to step into a 25-man raid with this guild, or at all as a serious tank. I'm not sure how I feel about the guild, as I don't like some of them and it seems hard to get along with them, I guess this is because I have yet to earn their respect? They have also gone on a kind of break from raiding over the summer, as people just were not signing up.
I've made a list of stuff that I would like to do in WoW, i was hoping this would serve as something to work towards when I start feeling bored, an awful lot of them are about mounts, I have to say, i really enjoy having different, and rare mounts. I've managed two of them, those being getting exalted with scryers, which I was quite proud of, so glad to have it done at last and the other being getting my Piccolo of the Flaming Fire. My god I love that trinket, it is just so damn fun, I can't wait to enslave the members of my guild with the power of dance when we eventually do a raid again. So counting those two, 2 of the 17 items have been done. I just can't seem to motivate myself to do them. Of course, 6 of them are only possible through raid, but that still leaves another 9 things that could be done. Two of them can be done in Heroic Magisters' Terrace, so I guess that I should run it every day, or when I can, so as to get two of the goals accomplished. Those being getting Kael'thas' White chicken( sounds so wrong) and getting my commendation, which that filthy healadin stole the one time I saw it.
I made a similar list of stuff I wanted to do IRL, I've currently done one thing on it, but theres much less stuff on it.
I hope my guild does Gruuls Lair one of these days, were doign Karazhan on Wedensday. I want my T4 Shoulders, they'll make my guy look really cool, and they're an upgrade from the D3 which I'm currently using. Ah well, maybe I get can the shoulders from spite this wedensday anyway.
Fingers crossed!

Tired now
So Ive now gotten all my stuff ready for Oxygen, I got a bag, which is quite nice, and all the other sundry things I require. I still don't know whether my friend Darragh has sorted out his drink yet, as he's been putting it off for ages, it actually annoys me now, even though it dosen't affect me too much. I hope he just gets one of our friends to run up to the offy for it, as I don't want to deal with his whining. Ahh god, I so do not want to wake up as early as I have to tomorrow, I'm going to have a nice wee sleep on the bus methinks. Hopefuly it will be sunny or at least fair, but I have a feeling it's gonna rain.
Now I have to decide whether to go to my friend Joes house tongiht for a bit of a session before we all go to Oxygen( Joe himself isin't going due to being a big faggot and deciding he wanted to buy pedals for this guitar more then he wanted to go). On the one hand I'd like to go because it would be fun and all, on the other I don't want to have to buy drink, and I don't want to go to bed too late. To be honest though, I go to sleep quicker when I'm drunk, and I'd just stay up late playing wow or worrying over something if I don't go. Hmm, quite a conundrum, I think I'l go get some water and think about it, better decide quickly though, as his house is probably about to start or already has.
I think I might join the gym when I get home, or at least go swimming more, as I quite like it and it would be good to BUFF UP as it were, or at least become fit, not that I'm horrendously unhealthy, just that I could definatly do with some work. My body is a temple and all that malarky. Yeah that's it, I'll go swimming when I come back, once I recover enough that is. Oy vay, I'm not looking forward to the first day or two back.
My list of things to do in wow is a little daunting, I think, what with my flagging entusiasm for my paladin, alot of them probably aren't gonna happen. Alot fo them are just " Get such-and-such a mount", my but I do love special mounts. They rock. One of them I hope to complete is levelling a warrior to 70. I love warriors, asthetically(I think their tier sets are the coolest looking), technically(I realy enjoy playing them as a class), and lore-wise(I'm a big lore nerd, I love all the classes in that way, Paladins in particular have great lore, or maybe I just think that way because I levelled a paladin and looked into all their lore). My first character, Blacksword, on my brothers account, was an Undead warrior, and I really enjoyed playing as him. Then when a friend of mine started playing I would go to his house after school and mess around on an Orc Warrior I created. When I eventually got my own account I wasn't crazy over starting another warrior, mainly because I had played the other ones alot and then they just got deleted, I didn't really want to go through the same abilities and such so soon, so I created a Tauren shaman, just because I wanted a unique, as I saw it then, kooky class. I levelled the guy to 43, and he hasn't moved a level since, he's my bank character now. It was then that I took up Vash(my paladin) from his lowly level 23 or so and raised him up to be my first 70. I can't remember whether it was along the way levelling him or if it was when he actually reached 70 I created a Tauren Warrior, Vars, a name which I think I'll re-use(If anyone is reading this and is on Anachranos Ive got dibs!), and levelled him upto 13, I then deleted him due to my loss of interest. I later created Krathor, another warrior, an orc this time, and got him to 40, I then got bored again. I began to love the way high-level or even mid-level Tauren warriors looked with cool gear. And so I created my new warrior, Ruad, he's now level 28. I find my interest is remaining unflagging in this one, hopefully that won't change. Ive decided to forgoe the traditional dual wielding levelling routine, for one simple reason.
I love Big Swords.
It really is that simple, I really enjoy the look of my big mongo Tauren smashing and cutting his way into the enemy with his massive greatsword. To me it just kicks ass. Axes and such are great as well, pretty much any big weapon, but Ive got a soft spot for swords.
Yeah anyway, I think some of my boredom with Vash may be stemming from the mass enjoyment I get from playing my Tauren. I really hope I can get him to 70, as I also want to check out what tanking with a warrior is like, and also I might decide to make him my main when Wrath of the Lich King rolls around, It wouldn't be bad to get some experience with warrior tanking before then. I know from past playing of Vash that bexperience really is king, I'm a much better tank then I used to be, and I'm still improving. Confidance is also a great thing in tanking, if you know what to do and are confidant that you can get the job done that feeling transfers to your group, they feel more comfortable with you tanking and everyone has a better, more carefree time.
Bleh, that's all for now, this was longer then anticipated

First Impressions
So here I am, writing my first blog. This will be pretty much a collection of my thoughts and experiences as my level 70 Blood Elf Paladin in World of Warcraft.
I guess I'll begin with how I feel about my paladin now. I'm finding it hard to play him. It may be that I feel I'm too far behind the progression wave now to progress to any real level, or it could be that Ive just gotten bored with him, or wow in general. He has very little to do outside instances, and finding groups for instances can be a right pain in the ass. No one from my guild ever seems to want to do heroics, at least not with me when they have their two already established tankadins, and then the warriors who are also further in line then me. I don't really like a few people in my new guild either, one of the healadins is a prick, at least to me, but is popular in the guild. One of the GM's(a hunter), insists on calling me a "juvenile", because I'm under 18, I'm not sure what to make of this. Added to this is the fact that they haven't gone on a 25-man raid in ages, they don't get enough sign-ups and then the people who have signed up don't show. I think I might just head on and try and find a differant guild, I'm pretty much always going to be lagging behind, and will never be part of the core tanking team.
I think I may take up an offer one of the retribution paladins I run with gave me. They need another tank for ZA, and tankadins are good there. He said that they might even want me as a Main Tank, this would be great for me, as I would get to experiecne ZA with people who are actually progressing through it( current guild is on 25-mans and never does 10-mans unless a raid is cancelled), I would have a main tank position, which I think I would enjoy, I would get pretty much first dibs on upgrades, and maybe the people would be slightly nicer then they are in this one.
Bah, I'm tired, it's 1'o'clock, and I have to try and get up early tomorrow so I can break out of my late night cycle. It'll probably be decided for me anyway, as I haven't been signing up for most raids due to having Real Life stuff to deal with(ie getting ready for Oxygen, a music festival, my first concert being a festival, I know, fantastic idea), and I'll be gone for about 5 days to the afformentioned Festival. I might be kicked during the absence, before it or after, but I bet it's coming, there just isin't room for another tankadin.
I think I'll just bite the bullet and quit the guild tomorrow, after a post on the leave of absence board of the forums I guess, they are not very helpful, and not very friendly, which I find important. I have to enjoy who I'm playing with, and they just don't supply it. I always feel uncomfortable with them, like I'm intruding.
